A New Academic Year Begins in Pécs

A new academic year has officially begun at the University of Pécs Medical School!
On Sunday, we welcomed our new and returning students at the Opening Ceremony, celebrating the start of another exciting year of learning, discovery and new opportunities.
For our freshmen, this marks the beginning of an unforgettable journey — meeting friends from all over the world, discovering university life in Pécs and taking the first steps towards a rewarding career in medicine, dentistry, biotechnology or pharmacy.
We are also happy to welcome back our returning students as they continue their academic journey and take on new challenges.
