Friday, 16 October, 2026
Applications for the University of Pécs Medical School’s English-language Pharmacy and Biotechnology BSc programs open on 1 November 2026, with a deadline of 30 June 2027.
The academic year begins in September 2027, and there is only one intake per year. As admissions are conducted on a rolling basis, early application is encouraged.
Application Process
1. Submit your online application
Register at the University of Pécs online application portal and upload the following documents:
- Passport-size photograph
- Copy of your valid passport
- Secondary school leaving certificate. You are welcome to apply even if you have not yet received your secondary school leaving certificate, provided you expect to obtain it by the end of the current academic year.
- Official secondary school transcript of grades
- Europass CV in English, including a photograph
After submitting your application, you will receive instructions for paying the application fee. Once the payment is received, your application will be evaluated, and you will be invited to the entrance examination, if applicable. Entrance exams are held from early March until mid-July.
2. Receive your admission decision
Successful applicants receive an Acceptance Letter and instructions for paying the tuition fee. Once the tuition fee or the required deposit has been received, the Final Acceptance Letter is issued.
3. Submit your original documents
After admission and tuition fee payment, you must send the hard copies of your application documents to the English Admissions and Student Service Office within two weeks of payment.
4. Prepare your medical documents
Before travelling to Pécs, prepare the medical documents required for the obligatory preliminary medical health aptitude examination during the first semester. These include a medical certificate, a completed health history form, a chest X-ray report (not older than one year), Hepatitis B and C vaccination records or serology results, and an HIV test result (not older than three months). Documents must be in English or accompanied by an officially attested English translation.
Please note that the medical documents are not required for enrolment itself, but you must bring them with you for the medical examination.

Important: Your application is valid only after you have fully submitted the online application. Apply early to maximise your chances of securing a place.
